Hours of Operation: 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., 7 days a week

Lifeguards leave at 8:00 p.m. closing the slide and boats. You may swim at your own risk at the pool and lake until 8:00 p.m. Restrooms will remain open until 8:00 p.m.

Admission: $5.00 per person per day. Small children not yet walking are free. You can pay with cash, check or major credit card or with a swim pass. See swim desk for details about passes. The indoor pool/Fitness center membership does not transfer to the outdoor pool or vice versa.

Swim Season: Our outdoor pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. After public school starts in August our lifeguards will only be on duty in the afternoons and weekends and that will be when the boats & slide will open. The pool and lake area will be open to swim at your own risk all other times up to 8:00 p.m.

Phone: Most of the time cell phones do not work at the pool area. Guests may use the phone at the admissions desk. Please limit your calls to 3 minutes.

First aid: A First Aid kit can be found at the admissions desk. Please see the lifeguard on duty at the desk for assistance.

Medical Emergency: All the Big Canoe Swim Club lifeguards are certified by the American Red Cross which includes First Aid and CPR. In addition, there is a dedicated phone line in a call box located at the pool and waterslide. By picking up the receiver, the phone automatically dials 911.

Inclement weather: The waterfront generally stays open unless storm conditions pose a safety threat. When thunder and/or lightening is present the pool, lake and slide will be closed and all guests will be asked to vacate the area including under the blue umbrellas. The evacuation status will stay in effect for a minimum of 30 minutes after the sound of the last thunder clap or sight of the last lighting strike. There are no exceptions.

To ensure your safety and the safety of all our guests we request that you know and follow the posted rules for the waterfront area and respect the directions of the lifeguards on duty.
