Tennis Committee Update
The Tennis Committee has met with POA architect Wayne Huey at the Tennis Facility for the purpose of developing a drawing detailing the existing facility. According to Wayne, no architectural plans exist for our facility and so consequently he needs to develop plans for our complex. These plans will be used for soliciting bids for removal of the deteriorating railroad tie walls and the construction of new retaining walls. Also, specific measurements will be used for bidding on a new deck as well as determining how far back the two new courts will be placed relative to the Tennis Clubhouse.
Depending on this placement, we will be able to use some of the
existing dirt as fill dirt in the area that needs to be built up facing
Wolfscratch Drive. I met with Wayne at the Tennis facility March 28 to
finalize this; our recommendations will be presented to Roger Klask,
who will in turn advise the POA Board enabling the Board to make
specific decisions regarding these improvements.
