 Tennis Director, Howard Hunt, has over 25 years of teaching and playing experience in the USA, Europe and Australia. He has played on the Grand Slam and International circuits and was a former leading Australian Junior Player. Howard is USTA Nationally ranked and ITF World ranked senior player. He was the USPTA National Senior Player of the Year, as well as the National Champion.
Australian tennis pro, Howard Hunt (USPTA Tennis Professional)
and his wife Lyn, manage the tennis program that expands each year. The
club sponsors tennis clinics, leagues and special events encouraging
couples, singles, youth and seniors to discover how much fun tennis can
be. Big Canoe Tennis Club has over 300 members and participates in both
ALTA and the North Georgia Mountain League. The Club also offers Junior
Development programs, Summer Junior Tennis Camps and USTA/NTRP Junior
tournaments.
 Tennis Pro Dan Carozza grew up in Dunwoody, playing junior tennis in the state
of Georgia and
around the southeast. After playing
college tennis at the University of Alabama,
Dan had a brief career on the professional USTA Satellite Circuit. Dan has been coaching tennis for nearly
fifteen years at North Fulton
Tennis Center
and most recently as Director of Tennis at Polo Golf and Country Club in Cumming,
GA.
Dan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Georgia
State University
and has served on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Professional Tennis
Association for the past three years.
