Big Canoe POA is proud to recognize employees and teams who go above and beyond in service, teamwork, attitude, and responsibility through our S.T.A.R. Awards.
Any employee or Property Owner of Big Canoe POA can submit an employee or team nominee for consideration for a S.T.A.R. award at any time. Nominations can be submitted to the Human Resources department and/or to any manager using the S.T.A.R. Award nomination form and should be considered confidential until the review is completed. All completed nominations forms are to be sent to Human Resources.
We expect our employees to be dependable, professional and likeable---that’s part of the job, their job. The S.T.A.R. award is not to be given lightly and it is not a popularity contest. It was created to be awarded based on performance...outstanding performance, out of this world…S.T.A.R. performance. This recognition is reserved for those whose performance is truly exceptional---those who shine brighter through outstanding achievement, innovation, dedication, who set the standard for excellence through their work ethic, creativity and impact.

• Suggestions resulting in proven cost savings
• Innovative solutions to a difficult work problem or process
• New ideas for improving processes, systems and/or quality of product
• Behaviors that exemplify outstanding customer service, team participation and quality control
• Outstanding examples of leadership
